What's with the painted over wiper motor sticking out of the firewall? I would expect every detail, no matter how small, be taken care of for something in this price range. WTH?

From the magazine story, it seemed that the car was purchased with the body work and paint already completed. So, the drivetrain got swapped and interior was re-done. Why is it worth more than $180,000? Don't get me wrong, it's a nice looking car, but what makes it so great? The Supra motor? Can I expect this sort of return if I buy a clean First gen and throw in a hopped up import motor?
