Tell me more about the Optima challenge. Is this an invitation event? Of course I am just a spectator. All booked and ready for November to get here!

Yea, can't wait... my car should be at David Pozzi's shop for a teardown and recheck of everything. We will most likely be upgrading the brakes and revalving the shocks as well.

My condo is booked for the whole week and I'm getting lots of autocross practice. We are going to need a bit of luck and a lot of skill to take on Jackass. eek!

Should be a blast.

Yea, the cars are invited to run. The only car from last year that's allowed to run this year is last year's winner. Some of the cars from last year will run as exhibition cars.

You can go as a spectator though.. it's fun to watch.

Steve what brakes are you thinking of? Also how far from Vegas is the Optima Chalenge, I will have a hire car, hopefully not to far, I am dying to see Penny in the flesh.

It's an hour drive over the hump to Pahrump. I'm running my car there Saturday.

Funny.. I love autocross..

I think it's because you don't need killer brakes and blown engines..

The only thing I hope about the Optima deal is that it's a real battle to the end.. close competitions are the best.
