Default Distributor Whining

Hi,
Not sure anyone can help me out but I will throw it out there. I have a Ford 302 SB that's in my 65 Fastback. I just installed a new MSD E-curve Distributor. The car starts up and runs fine but while its running there is a loud whining sound coming from under the cap. I have made sure everything is tighted down but still get the whining sound. There is no grinding or rubbing i can see of between the rotor and the cap. If anyone has any suggestions or ideas please give a shout out.

Thanks

Sounds like maybe some bad bushings / bearings in that bad boy....

I might want to pull it out and try spinning it by hand and see if there's some drag (without the cap on, of course)... If it's a dry bushing or something - eventually you're going to be pulling it out no matter what.

Hey --- It's not your spark plug wires whining through your radio is it!!??

Just checking....
