Cool deal, so she'll be doing the driving on the road course?

Can't wait to see the truck all done!

Ya, I had seen her at an autocross and she asked me about doing photos and the car (32 ford roadster at the time). She comes by one weekend just beaming. I ask whats up and see tells me she was out doing some 24 second runs. There was no autocross that weekend, of that I was sure because I'd have been there so I assume she went to the drag strip. I see an old beater Subaru out side and ask "on what, a Uni cycle?" she said "no, a NOS'd out, carbon fiber, Busa and I was at the Texas Mile"

Guys 24 means 200+ miles an hour. That's right this chick did 200 on a bike in under a mile from a standing start, she's nuts. Probably why she's fast.

After that I let her drive the 57 then she started taking photos for us and driving so I could work on the cars and chassis in the time frame we had available to us. She'll be working our shop booth at SEMA.

She TIG welds for us, (and has several parts for the truck) that counts as a odd ball work in a fab shop. And besides she's only been racing for 3-4 years.

And besides who's setting your car up Steve, I could have asked Lance Adams or Bill Dollahite to drive, that would've been funny.

Hey, I don't have a problem with it.. chill out.. It's all part of the fun.. really -- I just thought her name sounded familar after you mentioned it and the Texas mile.. not a lot of ladies in this sport.

My suspension builder is setting up my car.. why? I'm going up there in a couple of days to put the darn thing back together.. I need to stop doing the "SEMA thrash".. this is the third year and it get's tiring.

If I could repaint Penny I would steal the paint job from your truck.. ever since I was a kid I've love the whole flying tigers deal.
