Default New member/shop in Manitoba, Canada! check out our builds

Hello All!!! Its about time I posted on here. I actually forgot I had this log on name, and started another log on name, but I guess it never got activated as I cant post from it (maybe a moderator can fix it? HPIcustoms is the other member name)

Anyways...... without taking advantage of the forum to market my shop, lets introduce me. I (Tyler) run an up and coming custom fab shop in Beausejour, Manitoba, Canada. We specialize in modern concept/pro touring muscle cars and street rods, from custom designed suspension/chassis on our unique frame table to cnc milled parts! As you all probably know, we have major rust issues, so I do alot of panel replacement. We are currently doing a 68 Camaro, and the only stock panels are the dash and package tray.

Now for MY project.....think BIG car! Its a 1964 Pontiac Parisienne Custom Sport (Catalina in the states) 2 door hardtop.

We have modified the x frame and added AM style perimeter rails that tuck into the rockers. The rear section of the chassis was rebuilt and strengthened. We designed our own 3 link suspension on the computer that is fully adjustable from drag race style antisquat/weight transfer to corner friendly setups. Locating it is our own billet watts linkage, with adjustable roll center.

The car is on shockwaves....I know, not exactly hardcore corner carving compared to coilovers, but its more of a pro-show......

Up front we have based the suspension on Air Ride Tech Lower control arms, modified for the proper ball joints for B body tall spindes. Inthis case, the steering arm was of the right length compared to stock turning radius,.... remember not an a body!! Up top we made our own arms that use the newer 4 bolt balljoints, negative camber curve, Global west cross shafts and delrin bushings. The chassis was setup at ride height with alignment heads, and we dialed it in and THEN welded the upper control arm mounts on.... no shims. If we need to fine tune it will bewith a milled plate.

Currently we have an LS1/t56 combo, which may change when I can personally afford it!! Customers get the new stuff, I am dumping my money into theshop...my car waits!

We will be running a custom woodward rack for proper turning radius, ratio, and no bumpsteer.

The exhaust is being built now, 3 inch to an oval x pipe. Modified Abody headers. I also developed a trick hanger system too. Nothing touches the ground when aired out, and we are getting tricky with the exhaust/x frame. more to come. Driveshaft tunnel will change too.

Other projects include a 67 chevelle, 68 twin turbo camaro, 40 plymouth w/08 hemi, 65 stangfastback with 04 cobra drivetrain, irs, and our own front suspension(not mII), and a 77 T/A amoung others! We also now proudly carry Speedtech products, and are doing a Dynacorn camaro convertible with a Speedtech subframe and rear end!

Love the projects and ideas on the forum! I threw in a pic of our showroom! Thanks for any feedback on my project!

Welcome to the site! The Pontiac sounds like it will be pretty cool. Do you have a rendering of what it will look like?

Welcome! I think my wife Jennifer and I talked to you and your crew at the Speedtech party in Vegas?

As far as your other sign-on name, I dont see it on the list....perhaps you never activated it from the auto sent registration email?
