I got mine from AME, I"m sure they would have one for a 70...and the shipping wouldn't kill ya!

I also added the swing out kit for the harness bar, got it from Chris Alston. However many situations requires the harness bar to be welded...but mines a street car.......mostly!

Mine will also be mostly street driven. But the bar is nice to have and it will need to come out once in a while.

If AME has one I can just pick it up, NO shipping. Bonus!!

The DSE unit fits like a glove. I'm using it in my '72 and have it installed already. They sell only the 4 point unit, I had to go to a local chassis shop to get the front halo and down bars fabbed. Good materials along with excellent instructions and fit. The crossbar is long so that you can do it the way you want, it will have to be cut and possibly bent depending on your installation preference.

Thanks for the input Tommy. The DSE unit looks great in all of the pictures I have seen. But it's always better to get first hand reports.

S and W is the least expensive, upgrade to the pro-street rear bars if you want to retain the rear seat. You will have to fit and weld but most require that.
