TSO has been a favorite of mine for a long time. Although, let me suggest that front/center is not as awesome as you might think; a lot of things get swallowed up by the stage and you can't take it all in. After attending shows every year for the last several, my favorite has been the lowest row in the stands, about halfway down the side of the arena. Far enough back you can take everything in, but still close enough you can see their faces/etc and get 'snowed' on. No matter where you sit, it's easy to get addicted

. And if you haven't already, head to their website and read the stories of the albums; cool stuff.
They actually have two 'groups', one does east coast venues, the other west cost venues. I prefer whichever one doesn't have Petrelli; his shows tend to run a little long. Still awesome, though.
And DAWG, they just put out a new album, "Nightcastle", you might find it more to your liking. They also have an older album, "Beethoven's Last Night", also non-holiday; as well as most of the stuff the Oliva's did as Savatage.
If you sign up for their fan club on their website, they notify you before tickets go on sale and they have a 'members only' pre-sale so you can pick tickets before the general public for a discount.
