Ok I'm aware of the vin tag on the drivers door jam, what I'm asking (had I said it correctly) is what do you do with the trim tag that is on the firewall? Does it become a non issue for builds of this caliber?

The trim tags is removed but the VIN tag is the one that has to be their if it to be driven on the street.you have to have it to cross STATE LINE.

With all of the killer work on this car, everyone is concerned with the VIN tag?? Really??? When was the last time anyone got pulled over and then had to pop the hood to inspect the VIN/trim tag? (That was a rhetorical question. Please do not hi-jack this thread with examples to prove me wrong! )

We are sure that this car didn't have a trim tag... I hope I don't go to jail over this. I don't know if they even had trim tags in 62. I guess I'm on Phil's good side again!!!!!

Wow I guess I should just look and drool with my little yellow helmet on in the back of the bus. Who cares what questions get ask, does it offend you? Are we all suppose to just say how awesome the build is and not ask anything?

Well Mister I can tell for a fact that I had the texas taskforce come into the shop and pull 2 car out and inpound them that was a year ago one was just back from paint and the other was just started. I will not remove a vin number from a car not here in texas. For the one was a bill of sale they still have the car and I had to replaced the custom car
and the do all the work he paid for.All I had to do it was not stolen impossible with no VIN. and they knew this. The car will be destroy.

Sorry for starting the drama. It was meant as a funny, sarcastic comment that I guess was taken out of context. I'm not telling anyone what they can or can't do. My bad guys, now back to the build....
