I bought an electric life kit about 4 years ago. I went to install it about a year later but the wiring diagrams were way off, the wire colors didn't even match. because a year had passed, electric life wouldn't take it in return, so last year I got all the wiring figured out (don't like to rush into stuff..hahaha) and hooked it up.

I have the kit with 50lb pulls in my '69 Camaro. I have no poppers and the doors still open fine. I have to give Pete over at Comp Specialties props on that part though, because he helped me with setting up the solenoids and he pretty much rebuilt my inside door latches so they work better than new.

I see no reason to try and install the bear claw latches on a Camaro. that is more for streetrod set-ups
