Can anyone explain to me why they put that huge bend in the intake tube instead of just coming right up and into the engine? I'm thinking it is just for looks but didn't want to assume. DSE does great work and I love all their pictures.

wssix go to the dse site its the kyle bush car and look at the whole breather system for the car 'and you'll see the bend has a purpose it is really slick. now if we can just get the classified pics of stuarts car dam lol. i bet its over the top.

Ok I found a side shot that showed the throttle body was actually further forward of the filters. So coming straight up and into the TB wouldn't have worked. I didn't see that shot before and couldn't tell that the TB was so far forward. It just looked like wasted work to have that bend in there from the angles I saw.
