Push Button S2000 switch question for those that did it.

How did you guys mount the switch to wherever you mounted it ??
Looking for pics of the rear so I can see how it's secured mainly.

There's quite a gap (~1") between where the prongs are on back to the beveled face.
Wiring mine up right now and trying to figure mounting options out.
Wondering if anyone countersunk it too.....

The switch body is made at a slight taper. I ended up using a dremel to get the hole close and kept test fitting it. Eventually it slides in all the way, and is very snug. You would only be able to push it out from the back side.

Found a solution at Home Depot......can't delete the thread but thanks for the tip.

I found a piece of PVC piping that fit PERFECTLY SNUG that tapered down.

Kind of ghetto but I have done similar installations of switches without a way to mount them. On round backs like this one, put the button through and use a thin hose clamp on the back side, not too tight though. Should work.

I'm going to do a simplified write up with pics on this guys for OTHER people to reference in the future.
Just hang tight.

My media card reader took a **** on me yesterday.
I got it all installed with a relay and it works beautifully.
Plus I keep my column key as well.
