Does anyone know the reason why the yellow '37 with the orange flames wasn't a great 8? Had it been shown before or didn't run? By the pics it looks like it should be one of the contenders, compared to the ones that are.

Thanks for the pics G Body, let me clarify something,as much as me and my guys had a big effort in the paint and polish, the owner of the car Billy, who is a car enthusiest but not in this industry, did all the body, chassis and interior mods, fabrication molding. He did some pretty amazing work and saved himself multiple six figures!!!!!!Keep the pics coming and I agree from the outside looking in,that car probably should have made the great eight.

Just got back. We had the black over green 34 with the hemi in it that was in the great 8. Pics dont do the colors justice. There were alot of nice cars there but you have to see them in person.

It has a 547 inch Hemi in that put 1284 ftlbs on the ground and has a jerico 4-speed. Its was built to be fast and is fully caged.

The reason the yellow and flamed car did not make it is the underside fiberglass was just painted over. The guy did the car all himself in his garage and then had some one paint it. It was a cool car.

I thought Steve's truck was going to win the ridler. That car that won must have some really cool stuff that just isn't showing up in pictures.
Also There has never been a truck to win the ridler.

Chris
I think your guys car should have one. That car is amazing. That is the car I would want!

We built the wheels, steering wheel and a couple other odd parts on the winners car.

The body on the winning car is glass. I would think it would have to be all steel, built from scratch, like the truck is.
