I probably couldn't live without having dogs around. Congratulations on you're new puppy!

They say not to name a dog with anything that rhymes with "no" or other commands as it's said to confuse them. So I'm saying no to Tiago.

I'm going to also suggest Rocky as he was a boxer too. (kind of)

Edit: The brindle coat is great.

Yea I don't know how you would find one in the states and get him across, not sure how that works. Have you not found any Boxer breeders in Canada?

Well if you are in the market, man I just spent a ton of time searching and sending emails to all kinds of breeders so if you want leads I have them. There is a litter that is only a week old up in Truckee I almost held out for if I had not found this guy. This breeder I found our dog from has more. Feel free to let me know if you want help .

I found several in Canada but nothing in BC, I still have my female Rotti, so I will wait for a bit. Not really fair to her to replace her brother that quickly.

My old boxers name was TUFFY...

You're suppose to name dogs with names that end with an "E" sound. Not sure why - but I learned that somewhere.

Having said that - our beagles are named Alice and Elvis (you ain't nuthin but a hound dog... LOL). Obviously we let the kids name them 14 years ago.

I also had a Springer named HEY YOU... 'cause that's what everyone said to him... and the name stuck.

You're doing the right thing in replacing your beloved dog with a puppy. It's about the only thing you can do to ease the loss.

pics of the day we got him. he was 11 lbs at 8 weeks
as you can see he is suffering.

he is wearing a dodgers jersey and collar.

and this is him at 12 weeks this past weekend

When I was a kid we had a boxer named Buster Brown or Buster for short. Really fun dog with tons of energy. He would actually chew the bottom of doors and make what looked like little cartoon mouse holes. Man that made my parents mad.
