This keeps popping up on my truck and from what i have read it is a gas cap issue. Has this happened to anyone else? Its a 2003 silverado 5.3 could this be anyhting serious?

P0446 is an EVAP code, not anything serious but annoying to have the check engine lamp on all the time. Most likely a sticking EVAP Vent solenoid, located just off the gas tank. Fairly common, but usually presents itself as a p0442.
