We are using the stock hinges on this build... Thanks for the compliments!

UPDATE!! Ring Brothers made us a set of one off hinges for the build... One other thing I didnt mention is the wheelbase is streched so that also helps with tire clearance...

Yea that's going to be one badass 62 Nova. keep the pictures and updates coming. It gives me inspiration on finishing my 66.

One question on the hinges? We tried to use stock on my 66 but they hit the tires because of the cars ride height. You don't have a clearance issue with the tires? Again very nice build!

Doug

We moved the hinges up as far as we possibly could... It is tight but should not have any clearance issues unless we get it airborn...

Do you have anymore pictures of the car with the wheels on them? How do you like them, typical billet specialties perfection?

I don't have to many with the wheels on it but i'll work on it. The wheels are kick ass quality as usual from Billet Specialties, I didn't have them polish the center out just because we will be powdering them when the colors are finally determined. Thanks

What are you guys using to smooth out the welds? They have a bronze-ish color? Just curious if you are using some sort of a metallic filler or something after they are welded and ground to give them that extra smooth look.

Thanks
