Talking Im gonna build a 72 Camaro and make some tiresmoke.

Hey y'all, so after 10 minutes of browsing this website I just wanted to say I am stoked to be a part of this community and cant wait to check out some of these cars in real life one day.

I'm Mike, go to college at Sam Houston State, and finally bought a 72 Camaro today after over 5 years of looking. Its a total rust-bucket but I am super excited at the opportunity to build it.

I've got a Ls1 / Magnuson / T56 I'll be throwing in it, and hope to learn more about my suspension options. I used to be into 240sx's and have been wanting to get into something with more character for a while.

I plan to build the car to do a little bit of everything, but my main goal is to have a ton of fun with it, and one thing I love is drifting, heres a couple vids of some previous fun that has lead to my desire to build this car up.

the last American car I got to drift:

240 I built, was the world's 1st ls1 s13 chassis 240, now everyone and their sister has one:

Camaro!
Where I got it from:

Pulled into my shop. I have a broke hand right now, me and some friends are going to unload and snap some pics tomorrow after church:

I'm really excited to get to join this community, you guys seem to love building your cars, and having fun with them, and that is exactly what this is all about, and its pretty cool to see a forum with people actually building cars and playing with them and having a good time instead of the regular internet shennanigans.

Also, i just wanna disclaimer, I am not gonna try to convince everyone to go drifting all the time, its a fun way to kill tires, lets leave it at that and have some fun!
