Default T-bird rack- too wide

I'm working on a buddy's truck that has C4 suspension with coil overs and a 95 T-Bird rack. The inner tie rod ends on the old rack had been trimmed some, but who knows how much (he didn't build the truck). The replacement rack is too wide. I was wondering if any one knew of compatable inner tie rod ends that would be shorter than the stock T-bird ones.

I may be able to shorten the tie rod ends, the extenders and the outter tie rod ends enough, but I won't be sure until I disassemble everything.

the BIG thing to be clear about is that its not the width of the rack that is the big problem... its the pivotpoints of the inner tie-rod joints.. if they arent inline with a line "drawn" from the inner pivot points of the upper and lower controll arms you will get massive bumpsteer!

I realized I left out the fact that the rack itself is identical to the one I removed. The tie rods are too long, but not long enought to be used without the extenders on the end. the pivot on the inner tie rod is in the right spot. it's worn out because it was used when originally installed and the truck has been driven thousands of miles since it was built. I'm begining to wonder if it was an earlier model t- bird rack.
