I think it'll look real sharp with the correct blacked out tail panel without the rear spoiler. It'll be very unique. I'm pretty sure all SS396's came with the black panel aside from black cars.

Looks like a very nice car to start with! Congrats!

What part of Nebraska did you get it from? I've been going to out to Nebraska a lot for work and I'm just curious.

What wheels are on your orange 69? Do you have any more pictures of it?

That is one sweet setup you have there for a shop. I'm very jealous!
Thanks, I love my shop. I bought the car in Plattsmouth, NE.

I'll try and find some pics of my orange 69.

Hey Ben, Yes it is. You have a keen eye . I plan to paint my orange 69 like the rendering you did for me. Some things came up that kept me from starting last year on it. My plan is to finish this new car for my wife and then do paint on mine.

BTW, everyone who see's the rendering loves it. The manager at FedEx Kinkos liked it so much he printed 4 copies and gave them to me no charge. How cool is that?

Dropped the car off to the media blaster today. I will get the car back tomorrow and then it will get some expoxy primer.

Got the car blasted today. Here is a close up pic of the firewall. Hard to make out from this pic, but the lettering looks like: blu and D99. Anyone know what D99 code is?

According to this website on decoding the build sheet. The D99 designation is Two Tone Paint Molding. I have never seen one before and I have no idea what it looks like or what it is. Hope this helps. If you do find a picture or anymore info post it up I love to learn more about Camaro!
