Sorry that I could not get the car lower on the front but suspension got in the way. We could run this rear tire in the back of the car but needs to be mini-tubed!

What you guys think????

It is a rear end jig that we built to do rear-end measuring when setting up rear suspensions.. It works great for when we need to get OAL on from axle to axle when ordering a rear-end..

Here is another pic of how it helped determine if my lower links on a Chassisworks rear set up was going to clear the rear tires & make sure that we mini-tubbed it enough!!

How difficult would it be to widen a 1970 Buick GS? I run a fab shop and have both mig and tig in my garage. Is this a job that can be done in my garage? Any input would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks Clu

Clu --

As my signature states -- it's not having the tools as much as it is having some talent to use them...

I think your question is difficult to answer because who would know better than yourself whether or not you have the skills necessary to do the job correctly?

I'm in no way being argumentative here... I'm just saying - that when some asks "can I do it" -- I'd say - well? I don't know, can you?

Greg, It is not a question of if I have the skills to do the job but rather how to go about it. Were to cut, stretch, add material. I don't want to use my car to learn on if their is info on how to go about it. I thought that if I inquired perhaps some one would elaborate on the subject. With this said I hope that someone can help walk me through the process of widening a Buick GS.
Thanks Clu
