Default 67 Chevelle with ATS steering arms?

I am helping Alex396ss put together all the good stuff he has bought for it.

I have a question regarding steering arms and outer tie rod ends.

We have Hotchkis control arms and AFX tall spindles and ATS steering arms for A-body.

On Hotchkis website they recommend tie rod ends for 78-88 Chevelle but how does that work with the ATS steering arms.

Is the original A-body 64-72 tie rod ends better for this setup?

Thanks

Jan

The ATS arm tie rod hole is based around the stock A body arm hole so I believe it is safe to say yes. You might want to email Hotchkis about back ground reasoning with that recommendation. Maybe a stronger ball?

the "G" body outer tie rod end had a different taper than the "A" body
you must use the original outer tie rod end for the Chevelle
