Diesel for sure, I love the power they make plus they get nice gas mileage. My bro in laws 6spd dually would get mid 20's under perfect conditions. Once you start running into hills and traffic it will be like 20.

Honestly as long as it gets around 15mpg city I would be happy since that's what my Trans Am gets.
