Default Project: 68 Daily Driver Nova

So I'm well on my way to building a daily driver Nova for under 10k. I think this car should be a blast to drive. I picked up a super solid 68 as a roller for $3020 delivered to my front door. I've already ordered most of the parts and received about half. I can't wait to get back in town from my business trip to San Antonio to get back to wrenching on it. I am in need of a T56, hopefully I'll be able to pick one up at Goodguys in Columbus, OH this Saturday. If not, does anyone have one lying around perhaps? I'll get some pics up once I get back to a reasonable internet connection.

Basics include:
'04 6.0 LQ4
T56
IROC 12.7:1 power steering box
New interior
Cobalt SS Recaro seats
Dynatech exhaust

Welcome to the site. Always nice to see another Nova on here, especially a 68. Can't wait to see some pics.

I have been incredibly busy recently so updates are obviously slow. I met up with 69myway in Columbus for the Goodguy's show. There were some amazing cars there! Anyway..finally... some pics! I havent made a ton of progress on the building part of the project, almost all of my effort has been focused on finding parts. I think I have almost everything I need. The trans and related parts should be to me by next week friday, the wiring harness is in the mail and most other parts i have in the garage.

Car as delivered

I had to throw on some different wheels i had laying around in the garage

IROC steering box

Parts...

Cobalt SS seats, they need cleaned up but are in very good shape, $650 shipped from ebay, I have them both installed now so ill have to grab some new pics

and lastly... color choice, Ive always been a fan of black but i was thinking maybe i need to branch out? I really liked this green with black satin Yenko stripe from Goodguy's. any votes?

Or of course... black...
