Update for the weekend:

Floors are coming along very nicely.

Wheel test fit:

Inside drivers front:

Front view; looks like I'll be doing a wide body front and rear 68 body now:

Drivers side shot at ride height:

Can't wait to see the 3/4 shot with both front and rear wheels, even if they stick out past the sheetmetal.

Have a good weekend boys.

Tyler

the car is going to be killer for sure.something about that front air dam that just looks to ricey for my taste.no disrespect intended ,just imagine if everyone liked everythin g the same it would be a boring world.same with the side skirts.the way the chassis is
built it just seems like the exterior should be brought up a few notches to match the awsum skeleton underneath.good luck i cant wait to see it painted.

So I was gone most of August and half of September in Europe; London, Amsterdam, Prague, Paris, and Rome. Rodger did get a few things rolling when they had time.
They did the front A pillar down tubes of the cage, mounted the Tilton pedals, fab'd new engine mounts to set the engine back for use of my Sidewinder accessory drive, re-made the torque tube, and re-installed the drivetrain.

I only have a few pics, and they don't show much, but an update is an update.
Checking HRE wheel clearance.

New laser cut engine mounts

Same thing, different angle

Engine setback is now very much into the firewall, and at least 2 inches behind the front axle centerline

Torque tube all installed

How much is the engine recessed back in the firewall? Also how much clearance is there between the outside of the torque tube and the inside of the tunnel? Im doing the same thing in my 68 and havent decide on how much clearance I was going to give.
