Finally got the car back yesterday. A couple gears exploded and the fluid looked like silver spray paint with all the metal. He said the torque converter went bad throwing metal every where and destroying the pump. The car also had 6 cylinder internals and there was no way in hell it was ever rebuilt.

The car drives great now and the steering is awesome since he tightened up some of the front end components.. Maybe next week it will be painted.

Any hints on what wheels you ordered or did you say that somewhere else in the thread?

18 inch Rushforth livewires with brushed centers. I'll put up an example pic in a minute.

Nice choice. Are you still thinking blue on the paint? That would look great with a brushed wheel.

Hey guys I had the bondo start to crack on the sail panels. Anything I can do to stop this other that SFC's? Not too big but I noticed a 1/4 inch crack on the drivers side.

Also it should be painted any day now, just still sitting in the paint line but I have been driving it every day for like the past week. I love this car.
I got a call for DriversInc and my wheels are ready. Should be here next week!!

I too had three different set of dirty trained prints from the hood across the T-tops and down the trunk when my car was white on a rainy night.

That was back in the '80's. Thankfully anywhere outside of USA Vintage Muscle cars are so rare most kids only ever see them on their Playstation and therefore have a loft of respect for them. Now my Porcshe is a different matter. (Those pesky Kids)..

By the way real nice car...You could try lowered springs first then the blocks if you need them. I think you'll have better performance approaching it that way..

Best of luck.

I already have the blocks so imma try those first.

Any ideas for what I should do next? If I can find some leather material I will custom make a console.

Well you still can do a lot of stuff to it, like minitub it, lowering, and a small chin spoiler wouldn't look so bad. I like the result nice work Trey.
