Default DIY fuse panel/relay for LS motor

Guys,

If I plan on running the factory 5.3 motor in my truck, is there any reason to get a stand alone fuse/relay panel to control my fuel pump? Will the factory CPU run the fuel pump?

I'd have to look at a diagram to be 100% certain, however I believe the PCM controls a relay which drives the fuel pump.

I was told that this would be my best option:

Take a look at the first product.

I thought I could use the factory truck junction box...
