My personal opinion is the correct 69 stripe (hockey stick) .... I think it still works with the wheels and so forth and I think it really looks good on the newer cars also. I think that is the stripe I am gonna do on my Orange 69 unless I do a Yenko stripe . Very nice looking car by the way..!!!

The Grand sport stripes look very good also. I bet you could get someone to photoshop the picture you have posted several different ways to really see what it would look like. I think the chrome lipped black wheel looks 100% better than all black also. We put a black rim with a polished ring on our black Tahoe and it looks killer. Are you doing body color bumpers ? How about spoilers ?

yeah i have a pic of the wheels in the build thread. the bumpers are smoothed and are the color of the body as well. i modified the rear spoiler to be adjustable and it will be body color on top and flat black on the rear (i think) with flat black struts

I am not sure what you should do on your 69 but you could not have used a cooler example to show it.

Yes that is the RPO DX1 stripe (though it's hard to see the stripes running up the center of the hood, in that picture....here's one that shows it a bit better.)

Stencil kits for this stripe are available from Phoenix Graphix and Stencils & Stripes Unlimited, among others.
