Default Member from BC about to roadtrip down the west coast...

Hi all, my name is Joe, I'm from Vancouver, BC, Canada, and I have a 1972 Nova in the process of getting a turbo LQ4 & T56, suspension mods, interior, prettymuch everything done to it.

Getting to the main point, I'm about to embark on a roadtrip from up here down through the WA and OR coast, eventually ending up in CA.

I'll be on the road from Aug.13 - 29, and I'm curious to hear of any meets/shows/events/races/trackdays etc to check out, as well as any shops that might want to open their doors for a follow pro-touring enthusiast to see cool projects...

Cheers!
-Joe

The trip was very cool... I did a fair amount of searching before but couldn't find any decent shows/events going on during the time I was roadtrippin'. Was thinking of checking out Laguna Seca but for the couple days I was in Monterey it was rented out to Bondurant so I didn't bother going out there.

Went from Victoria, BC to:

1) Port Angeles
2) Oregon dunes (camped)
3) Northern Cali (camped)
4) San Fransisco
5) Monterey
6) LA
7) Redding
8) Portland
9) Seattle
10) home!

Very cool trip all round, brought my old road bike and biked around every city I stayed in, probably put on 150km on bike just exploring the cities I stopped in. All that driving made me realize driving down to WA for car events isn't as far as I thought and I should definitely think about it once my car is in running order!
