Perhaps because the center section is rough cast its tougher to get out of all the uneven surfaces ? We use it regulary and always powerwash it off with a pressure washer.

I'm guessing he left it on for way too long or something...even the back of the valance, fenders, ect. that was painted black and then coated with this stuff never came completely clean after powerwashing. Yes the center section was the toughest to get clean due to the uneven surface.

If you say it works then it works!
