Using a C5 mirror and control system for my 67

I found a place that will sell me the mirrors and wiring harness from the mirrors on c5 for a 67. What I wanted to know was if I can take the entire arm rest control panel and have it mated to my 67. Including push button door opener, mirror controls, windows, and anything else that those arm rest panels have for controls. I'm having the custom interior built for the car, but wanted to know if this was feasible. The mirrors were $175 each, and the harness was $325 each. I need 2 of each. I have not priced out the control panels, but wanted to know if anyone had done something like this before?
