it is only in DTM primer.. we still need t oget the doors gapped & do the body work on the shell..

Mary's car is coming along but not as fast as I would like it too.. But hoping to get paint on it this week.

Default Firewall Roll Bar Flanges

So, we want to make tie down bars from the firewall to the sub-frame.. Here is what we designed tonite.. I will be machining parts in couple of weeks & see how they work..

Cris,

It looks like the downtube will attach to the right-end of these machined pieces. What attaches to the other end?

Eric,

The view of the model shows that left side will elimnate the factory mounting for the fender & replaced with machined pcs.. The right side will be for the down tube that slips over the & has a chamfer so that when welded it has a nice clean bead.. I have to mount my sub-frame & see how we are going to tie it in but more than likely will be another machined flange welded to the sub-frame.. Still trying to decide if we are using a factory frame or aftermarket.. Wanna design one??? LOL

Getting tube benders quoted right now & we will have one in the next couple of weeks..
