axle perches are not a big deal...actually, I am building the rearend now and that is when I discovered this problem, I was taking measurements so I would know where to weld the new perches on the rear. I went to bolt in the leaf springs and they would not bolt in because rear is so far inboard compared to the front eye.
as far as the dse rear shackle....has anybody used them with a wheel/tire this size on a 67-68?
it would make my life alot easier if the dse shackle would work, I just don't think it will move the leafspring in enough to clear the tire.
