ya we had a pair layin around for another budget project so we just used them on this instead LOL wastegates welded shut too

That is truly badass.

I'd LOVE to see a write up on how it was all done.
I'd like to put a modern diesel in alot of older vehicles.

Default Now that's what I'm talking about!

I've been contemplating building or dumping a 78 Camaro I have that was security on a loan that the guy walked away from. A buddy of mine told me his friend is running solid 9 second 1/4 mile times in a Mustang that gets 39MPG!!!!!! That's right I said 39MPG!!!!!! Only problem is I have no idea where to start looking for information or how much fab work is gonna be required. The cars got everything but a motor in it. Can you even bolt up a duramax to an auto tranny or T56 or do you have to use an Allison or something. Sorry for the ignorance but it would be a wicked project.
