I finally got the firewall all done and the Dash all welded up.I haven't welded in the door bars yet so that I don't have to crawl over them all the time. These are not the wheels I'm going to use but they are the correct width and offset so I could check all my clearances. I'm going to buy a rotisserie this weekend and start on the body work. You can see the engine setback in these pictures. I've also decided to switch to coilovers and will be running Ridetech's newest fully adjustable coilovers.

Nice project. That motor is going to be sweet in that car. Those wheels look good on there.

Nice! I've always loved that bodystyle. They're like a 7/8 scale A-Body! It's killer to see one get the treatment! Great work!

Jay
I wish I had the extra money to put some rated X's on it. Sweet wheels with black centers.
The only problem with building a 63 TEmpest is that they are on year only and there is no aftermarket parts. I have to build everything for it . Thats also the fun part about building it.

Ooh! That would look evil but getting it on the road and making forward progress is more important!

Looks like a pretty solid body so hopefully you aren't having to make too much stuff from scratch but you're off to a helluva start. Keep up the good work!
