I'll never really understand what drives guys to build these over the top show cars but some nice work on them. I'm especially not into the "cover all the functionality with smoothed out metal" mentality, but definitely takes some skill and vision. I know one thing, any car with that kind of power, hell, any car that is driven will need work and you'd be looking at 24+ hours of labor just to disassemble the front end and tape off everything to do basic maintenance.
I'd take Bob Griffith's Viper every day of the week over a dozen Ridler cars whether I'm driving, showing, or racing.
Like I said, I don't understand it, but good for them. I like keeping craftsmen employed.

1937 Talbot-Lago – Type 150-C-SS/Sport Coupe
Much admired for its distinct body design called “goutte d’eau” or Tear Drop, this car was a wedding gift for the fourth wife of an Indian prince. This chassis (#90107) is the most unique of the 14 coupes built — it’s the only one with fully skirted front and rear aluminum fenders, all aluminum body, a sunroof and painted (not chromed) wheels. This is also one of only two Talbot-Lagos with the cloisonné hood ornament in the shape of a royal crown, testifying to the cars Royal Indian heritage.
