Been down long enough!!! Project: "Amatuers said it was impossible"
Hi all, I am going to start a project thread of my 1967 Camaro and will not promise progress (money is funny right now), but just to show that i have progressed in the last 2 years.I purchased the car off of ebay a couple years ago and the story goes that it was parked and hit in the rear by a drunk driver at 10am. I got it home and immediately started taking the smashed parts off and quickly realized i was in for much more than i bargained for. I forgot to mention that someone wanted a convertible without paying the convertible price? I welded the roof back on and can just call that practice. I then cut the roof off and separated it from the structure, realigned the structure and squared it, I then put the roof back on. I straightened and reinforced the frame rails and pictures will show the rest. I shopped around for parts and eventually left the idea of going big block backed by a six speed. I got a deal on a 6.2l and a 5.3l engine and a 6 speed tremec.
So from those two motors will come my setup. Impossible is nothing! -Ram

Trevor, my son, is going to have to wrap his brain around this, too. Please, do tell as you continue your build.
BTW, don't make yours too smokin' hot or Trev will say his car's gotta at be least be as good.
