Get the engine monday that is being built by Cres Martines at Gilroy Automotive Machine. It is a 383 with Scat forged crank and 6 inch rods and Icon pistons. Dave Crower came up with a cool 4/7 swap solid lifter cam and lightweight valvetrain. Heads are Dart 200's that came with the original 327 configuation. Should put out 475 horse 470 tourque according to Crower. Subframe has been welded and powdercoated ready for reassembly with the trick Gen II upper and lower control arms, and L&H Kustoms/ Pro billet components spindles and bump steer correcting steering arms.

I met Kevin (owner of this car) last week at the shop. Great guy and excited about seeing this project come together. He's got some cool ideas to give it a personal touch I think people will like.
