How many hours do you think you will have into copying the fiberglass sheby parts in metal? I am just wondering how it would compare to buying the fiberglass. Great work. Scott.
We will have around 150-200 hrs in them, dont forget that this is a genuine GT 500 so it already had all the original glass pieces just the customer wanted more of a 67 style front and no glass on the car only steel to give it more of a hand built, one off feel.
Shane.
OK update time, fabbed up the front last couple of weeks, lengthened the hood
3 inchs and fabbed a functional hood scoop, decided after welding on the front half of the hood (repro piece of CR***P) that I would fab the scoop in aluminum and bond it onto the hood.
finished fabbing the front fascia, next Im onto the lower valance/ air dam then on its wheels to have a look outside at its profile.
