Look at an older pic of my ride below:



Those are 18s. Looks like "room" on the front and back of the front tire, right? Sure. So long as you only want to go straight. There is less than 3/4" clearance when turning. It is already possible to rub if i hit a bump while turning sharp.

Beyond that, I personally think there is more visual impact by the hoop size than by any front/rear clearance issue. Just think ofnhow large a wheel it would take to "fill" a mid 60s cuda!
