Default t56 magnum to LS bellhousing

what bellhousing do I need for t56 magnum to 2005 ls6. or how much does the imput shaft suppose to stick out from bellhousing mating surface. im thinking at least .200" but since there is many of you that been there done it whats advise can you offer on different bellhousings / scattershields

I used a mcloed on my trucks t56 but I had to make some cuts to scattershield to make it fit.

quicktime rm-8020. mothers has the best price of around 450 with free shipping and summit will match. i was told by mcleod that they were redesigning their bell and that the new one would be out in a couple months.

that bellhousing ( 8020 quicktime ) is 5.55" deep so that will give me about 1" of input shaft sticking out of bellhousing, does it come with a spacer to fit in between trans and scatter
thanks

if you are using the chevy version of the magnum with your ls motor, then the 8020 is the correct bell.
