If I have to go with new shocks I may look at the Ridetech, I like the adjustible ones Right now I just need to focus on getting everything work good for cruze season. Thanks for all the help today. We got alot acolmplished. Tomorrow will be phone calls.

I noticed that on the set I had on there for a long while. I thought it was from the tow hook leverage and towing. Let me know what you come up with.

Never had tow hooks on my car, maybe the tork of the rear?

Called Varishock today, the said I should go to a 200. I measure my shock and I'm at 7 5/8 level.

any updates on this? did the vari shocks stop leaking and what was the cause of the leak?

G-Bars need at least a 200 pound spring. I run a 225. If you have a lot of junk in your trunk you may even need 250. The goal is to have the shock travel centered. Yours may be leaking due to frequently bottoming out with those springs.

Funny, the G-Bar came with these springs, but I did get one of the early set ups about 3 years ago. I'm going to call Chris Alston tomorrow.

Mark, sorry I haven't called you. I've been a little busy. Just got home from RTTC 2. You need a little more shock travel and a much stiffer spring. I'd go 225-250 on a cruiser. I just put 275's in mine and they are working great.
