Default I need help configuring a rear end

I am building a 1000hp 1969 Camaro and I'm designing it to be a well handling street car. Since I do not know a lot about rear ends, I need help understanding what would be best for my situation. I don't know who are the best companies out there and what parts I should run.

-I would like to run a lower RPM on the freeway but still be quick on the start.

-I am going to be running a 4L80e transmission and 285/45/18 tires in the rear.

-Also, how do I figure out how wide the rear end needs to be to make the wider tires fit. The rims are a 18x10.5 and have a 2-1/2" off set.

Thank you
