Big question is how they can sell 2 tacos for 99 cents and make a profit. Think about the basic overhead to run any business.... Payroll, insurance, utilities, supplies etc. There has to be a mark up for everything just to break even let alone make a profit. So think about how cheap their supplies must be to mark 2 tacos up to 99 cents and make a profit.

It ain't real meat in those tacos

for real american cheese its cost us "regular" restaurant folks like 6-8 cent per slice that fake shiz is like 4-5 cents for us also so a company with buying power like jack its prob. more like 2-3 cent a slice food cost...

speaking of cheese my mozzarella cheese has went up 40cent per pound in the last 2 months.

Loss leader?? get you to come on for those and you'll buy something else.

I hit up jack for 2 tacos, and their fish sandwich, fries and a drink special once or twice a week. I only get charged $3.27. I am a cheap bastard, but some reason I do enjoy those mystery meat tacos.

They want you buying a drink. It costs pennies for the cup, ice, and drink. Plus they gotta get rid of that spoiled meat somehow....

They don't care about the cheese.
Did you order a pop? They make the money mostly on pop and a few other high margin items. They don't really make any thing on that other crap you ate.
