Laguna isn't bad for a beginner. Just don't go out and try and set the lap record first sesson.

It's not a high-speed circuit, more technical. You just need to establish your reference points for approach, turn in, and braking. Turn 1, 6, 7, and 8 (the corkscrew) are blind so references are on the horizon or the track surface. I think the max speed I saw cresting T-1 on the KTM RC8R was 145, the MotoGP guys see about 165 which is hard to comprehend. I'd guess you might see 130-135 with your car, the key is scrubbing speed on the downhill approach to the dual apex Andretti hairpin (T-2). It's a great track!
I haven't ran any car track days, I'll assume they're similar to bikes and run three 20 minute sessions on the hour for advanced, intermediate, and beginner skill levels?
