^^^^^^^^^^ agree with those thoughts.... everybody gets a different 'joy' from various facets of the hobby.

Personally - I've never seen a car - or an enthusiast I didn't enjoy. Not everyone can afford the best of the best... or custom built... and not everyone loves perfect paint... or tracking their car. It is what it is.

How big is that chip on your shoulder?

They are killer if they have enough power. A stock Gallardo is boring as hell if you've had something with decent power.

I would only buy one if I could also afford one of the nice twin turbo packages for them at the same time.

Doesn't make them "lesser" in the hobby .. so I wasn't picking on you, just trying to make a larger point.

Personally I think the Lambo is a big bucket of Awsome Sauce..

p.s. you could probley make side money at track days with the quadcopter and the camera.. would be epic footage.
I felt baited personally.

I plan to do all sorts of things with quadcopters. Got a new frame on the way for more stable flight and 3 axis camera stabilization. I'd like to be able to keep up with a car down the main straight of big willow.

Check this out.

Quads are capable of incredible speeds and nimble, with a friend operating the camera or just leaving it pointed down at an angle It'd give us all GT cup style footage.

Even hovering at one chicane or corner would shoot some amazing footage. Once you get to a location you can let off the sticks and it'll hold position...

Neither have I. I love a perfectly maintained celica as much as I enjoy a miura.

I must be mis reading your thread. I didn't see anything about you guys having coffee earlier that day and getting a sense for his personality. I agree that since he drives a Lambo, his chances of being a prick are substantially greater. However, I wouldn't draw that conclusion automatically. That's like saying everybody that drives a 69 camaro is a redneck.

Does it have a hood...and if so, is it on the car?

Everyone must have missed the humor. Its not the lambo, its the custom plate "What a life" that was just cheesy as hell IMO.

I love my cars, but they don't make up the majority of my happyness in life. Add to the fact that a Gallardo is a status symbol and there you go.

I found humor in it, thought the guy was a douche, and thought itd be funny to rev a 1970 Mini to 12k on him. To the people around us, it probably was funny.

Instead this threads turned into a total turd.
