you can pick them up reasonable.
we did a factory 5 33 a couple years ago and put a Cobra SC 4 cam motor in it the car was flat black and we did all the motor flat black and it looked SICK!

mod motor ..... ford never built a good motor , thats why a ls or smallblock .

AND factory 5 , looks sick is correct . but i mean SICK not the good sick . thats a dressed up classic motor carriage .

If you want EFI and a slightly more modern look, you can adapt an LT1 intake to the engine. I think the LT1 is a great looking motor/intake. The intake produces great torque too. Just a thought. I do agree that a hot rod should have a classic look to it though. Sure, an LSx works great but the intake, coils, and injectors etc kills it for me with the build style of a hot rod. An LSx with old school stacks brings you right back to a "proper" look even if EFI is retained though. So many choices and variables.

Just a little update. Saturday I got the '32 all ready to go into the shop. Took the hood top and hood sides off and loaded it up to take into springfield. The goal right now is to get the motor that I have now running by this Saturday (the 9th) so I can make it to a local show here in Missouri. I will be converting this car over to a FAST EZ EFI system shortly after this show. I'm trying to find the best place to buy this setup from.
