I don't think that we're making enough power to warrent the RXT - the RST should be (and has been) more than capable and has worked well for the last couple of years. This wasn't the clutches fault...

No clutch would have survived Saturday's onslaught. I was 150' away and could smell the clutch getting abused long before the final indignity.

I think the best quote of the day was that these were "Big boy" cars in the Challenge. Many of the "drivers" had no clue what to do.

Yeah... that's why we had a replacement waiting. I just wasn't expecting the magnitude of the failure (even if the look and smell was worse than the actual condition of the clutch would suggest)...

The good news is that we were able to get some testing in on Tuesday, the clutch is back in today and RideTech is revalving the shocks based on our feedback from our test.

I think that we no have a decent skid pad setup, a really good autocross setup, and a comfortable toad course setup. Hopefully we can put it all together...

It's an old ultra-light airplane trailer that we picked up last year on a fluke. The spares list is just about the same as lasts years so everything whould fit by the time we're done...

...even made sure that it was converted to a single wire so it should be a direct replacement.

It's definately overkill and I'm sure that when we have an issue it will be unrelated to anything listed above but our goal - first and foremost - is to finish the race and I would hate to be sidelined because we didn't have a "simple" something-or-other handy.

Thanks Blake - we'll do our best.

Have you considered towing a spare replica of the car?
