I'm really going to feel like a tool now if I paint my a-arms silver as originally planned though.

I'm sure I wasn't the first to do it and won't be the last. The black powdercoat they come with is excellent, but just didn't fit my color scheme. I say do it!

Jody,

did you remove the original power coat before having the new color put on?

or

did you powder coat the new color over the old color? (can the do this??)

or

did you get them with out any color on them to start with?

I didn't know they could, but they coated right over the top of it. They do it all the time for a color change where the original coating is in perfect condition. Saves a lot of time and will not come off.

I don't believe there's an option with DSE but you'd have to call them.

As far as I know, it is optional, but by request. I think you have to be nice to them for it. Tony Huntimer got his in silver after asking for it. And yes, he had them before you Jody.
