I think the Glide is a neg. idea. I have a friend who has a glide in a street car. Doesnt like it so much. I would go with a 3-speed or an OD Tranny. Now, the turbo 283 is a cool idea. I dont know if you can de-stroke it but the easier it is to spin the better for a turbo IMO. Unless you run 2 different size Turbos . I have seen that done and work pretty well. If you are going for something different, make it cool. Small smallblocks dont push a ton of air, so a BIG turbo might not be your friend, Unless you like lag.
