I agree with the maintance issues.
"Shop Bitch" has 8 pieces of polished Alum. (4 coil overs & 4 small pieces in the interior) and they all bother me.
Funny part about this is --- SAR sent pics with the motor all taped off pre paint... I yelled at them via email "STOP"!! I don't want my heads painted... as it was clear they intended to paint them.

Guess it will have to wait for winter now and take it down and have them painted 'cause you're right... they should have been. Just seems blasphemous to paint aluminum heads... but sometimes it's the right thing to do I guess.

I'll pick it up May 10th - and will leave from Portland with it in the trailer at O'dark thirty the morning of the 11th for the Santa Barbara Wheels and Waves show. Given the weather here - it will have 0 miles on it...

Thanks Rich. I'm not in love with the exhaust tip... kind of reminds me of the mean chick with the thick black glasses that are pointed. So I might have to make a change there.

Jim --

Thanks! Glad you like it.

No Riddler here... just a nice little hot rod to have some fun in the sun with. I don't do the trophy whore thing. In fact... my M.O. is to drive a car to a show. Park outside of it - go walk the show - blab with some buddies - and leave.... And I refuse to attend ANY indoor show around here. I can see all the same cars for free in the Fred Meyer parking lot any weekend all summer.

I'm dragging this car up and down the coast a couple times this spring/summer mainly because I'm finally free of the "kid" ball and chain. Youngest is turning 21 in September and as a junior in college I no longer have to be around to keep them on the up and up.

My darling wife doesn't do car shows of any kind... so we have a pact. I'm heading for Santa Barbara with my Sister/Brother in Law - and another couple - Gwen and Adrienne are headed to Hawaii..... and for Fathers Day... I'll be at the LA Roadsters Fathers Day show in Pomona.... Gwen will be in Spain. See how that all works out?
