Default Hidden front Bumper!

This car 68 will driven alot.. & since we removed the front bumper from the exterior... We are making one that will be on the inside of the lower valance & also will retain the fold down tow hooks.. but I am also thinking it will also hold my oil coolers & cold air induction coming in from the grill.. Maybe!

Dude! (LOL)

One of these days you should try your hand at building some really kool cars... you appear to be "okay" at it!

'68's aren't my "car" -- but the rear end on that thing is absolutely nuts!

Wow Chris this build is amazing. Lots of great fabrication and design work you do at your shop.

Out fricken standing! Like everything about this build! The one off parts are just killer. The attention to detail is phenomenal! That is what separates the good cars from the great cars!

Just for you Greg! I will try to bring in some "DAMM" Street Rod or 56 Nomad & see if we can "REALLY" build some kool cars then & meet your short standards!! LOL

BTW- I got offered a 56 Nomad yesterday for 8500.00.. Project.. Need to get your input on that one.. I really want a 56 two door hard top..

Thanks guys for all the compliments! they are much appreciated.. I am very fortunate to have a great group of guys that work with me here @ the shop.. Plus the owner of this 68 has allowed me to come up with some cool designs, body modification, & machined pcs..
Plus given the privilege to build another car for him & his son.. The 70 Fastback Mustang..

The 68 takes priority.. so we will be finishing her up pretty soon!

Default Some plumbing progress

We are a little behind schedule on the plumbing.. We had to work all the front of the car with the grill , header panel & lower valance with headlight buckets for nice fit..

Here are some progress pics on the plumbing... We have been getting allot of custom fitting done lately with distribution blocks.. My machinist is on vacation & fishing somewhere Arkansas... But have a list of more fitting I need.. like a stainless 3/8 tube bung to -8 male.. I try to avoid using pipe plugs whenever we can.. & use o-ringed fittings with either BUNA, Viton, or EPR o-rings... Got an idea on how we are going to do the valve covers for breathing with reservoir tanks for P/S & overflow tank with surge..

Just a few more custom pcs... & I am done.. I think!

Could not find a location for the clutch reservoir without burring in some location that you could not get too.. changed all reservoir locations with mounting..

Air filter retainer!

Cris....amazing! But hey, nothing unusual from you & your crew.
I just read the entire thread today. I know I am a little late to the build but I did subscribe. I look forward to seeing this one (and the 70 Mustang) finished.
